Helicopter charter
A helicopter chartered for your group for site visits, inspections or business travel, on the route and timetable you ask for.
What the service involves
A charter is quoted for the aircraft rather than per seat. The quote covers the legs you ask for, waiting time on the ground and, where needed, positioning flights that bring the aircraft to your departure point.
Every landing site must be suitable for the aircraft and approved for use. For an offshore installation that means the installation’s permission; for an onshore site, the landowner’s permission and any local rules.
Who it is for
Companies arranging visits, inspections or meetings at offshore or remote sites, and groups who need a timetable that scheduled transport cannot offer.

Typical requirements
- A landing site that is approved, or can be approved, for the aircraft
- Names and weights of all passengers
- Clear timings, including how long the aircraft should wait
What to send with your request
- Each leg of the route, with departure and landing points
- Date, preferred times and how flexible they are
- Number of passengers and the baggage they will carry
- Any special requirements, such as equipment or accessibility needs
Weight and baggage
Passenger numbers and baggage depend on the aircraft type in your quote. Long legs can reduce how much the aircraft is able to carry.
Seat numbers, baggage allowances and payload depend on the aircraft type and the route. They are stated in your quote; we do not publish fixed figures here.
Weather and scheduling
Charter timetables are planned with weather margins. If conditions are not suitable, the operator may delay or cancel a leg; the cancellation terms in your quote explain what happens to the price.
Safety and regulatory limits
The operator named in the quote is responsible for the flight. The pilot in command decides whether a landing site and the conditions are safe on the day.

Questions about this service
Is a charter priced per seat?
No. A charter is priced for the aircraft and the legs you request, however many seats you fill up to the aircraft’s limit.
Can we land somewhere that is not an airport?
Possibly. The site must be suitable for the aircraft and you need the landowner’s permission. Give us the exact location and we will check it.
Can the aircraft wait for us?
Waiting time can be requested and is shown in the quote. Tell us how long you expect to need.
